Parquesol community center

The construction of the civic centre in the District of Parquesol dates back to 1990. According to the architect, it's a building of a single height, with a clear mastery of horizontal lines and great structural-formal simplicity. The building has a lot of natural light due to the various courtyards. The centre boasts a multipurpose room of 179 m2 and workshop rooms, as well as meeting rooms and a large space for exhibitions, everything perfectly equipped. In the southern part the center opens to a large square dominated by a sculpture and a pond, and wonderful views of the valley of the Pisuerga river. In 2010 the Center was extended and provided with a new space dedicated to diverse art performances. Visitors access the theatre through the square and enter into a lobby in the shape of an L, from which the pond can be seen. The stage is perfectly equipped and has various dressing rooms and a warehouse.
